Cool summer clothes can be stylish when you use bright prints and lots of ruffles. This ensemble is a summer top with ruffled tiers below the bodice and capri pants with ruffles at the bottom edges. These garments are made using coordinating prints, such as the cherry print and polka dots in the project example.

The pattern for the girl's capri pants is not included with this book because the pattern is so large. Use any pants pattern you like and cut the legs to the desired length. Patterns for both summer tops and the Capri pants for dolls, however, are included.
