Joan Hinds has designed this pattern for embroidered jeans and a braided belt

No girl can ever have enough jeans. The same goes for dolls. Girl's jeans are available at every retail clothing outlet so no pattern is included here. A purchased pair of plain jeans can become a canvas for all types of decoration. Instructions are given for hand embroidery with hearts and flowers. Basic embroidery stitches are used with cotton embroidery floss.

The colorful belts are simply braids made from satin or rattail cord. The belt can be worn with any favorite jeans or shorts with belt loops.

The pattern for the girl's jeans is not included with this book. Use purchased jeans and decorate them the same as the doll's jeans.
