Polka dots are perfect for a warm, cozy fleece vest. The girl's vest pattern comes in two sizes, small and large. The small will fit sizes 4-6, and the large will fit size 8. The construction is made simpler by using bias tape to finish some of the edges. Bias tape covers the seam lines of the collar and the zipper edges in the girl's version for wearing ease. This step has been eliminated in the doll-sized vest. Double-sided adhesive basting tape holds the zipper in place while stitching to ensure a smooth line.
