Messenger Bag sewing pattern allows you to make this purse for girls and dolls

This large bag, a fashion must, will carry everything girls and dolls need. It is made from a contemporary cotton floral print with a plaid fabric "accent" on the center of the flap. The girl's bag is interfaced with a firm but flexible fabric, such as cotton duck, so as to give it body. No interfacing is needed for the doll's bag since it is so small. Flowers are cut from the leftover fabric and fused to the flap for extra punch. Although no closures are included in the Messenger Bag design, you could add a magnetic snap or hook-and-loop closure if you like.
