Joan Hinds has written twelve sewing books for dolls since 1992. Except for this book, all of them have patterns and instructions for clothing and accessories for the popular 18" vinyl doll. As a former newborn nursery R.N., Joan was excited to work with lifelike baby dolls in her latest book, "Sew Baby Doll Clothes." It is her first book of baby doll clothes and the first book to feature multiple sizes.

The realistic baby doll clothes patterns in this book are sized to fit 12" to 22" lifelike baby dolls, including reborn, with categories for sizes small, medium, large and extra large. With such a large size range, Joan could not possibly fit the patterns to every baby doll on the market so she picked representatives for each category of doll. Joan gives detailed information on the measurements in each category and also tells how to measure your doll. Since she used to be a hospital nursery nurse, she illustrates the best method for measuring a crying, slippery newborn infant!

Here are some of the specific dolls these patterns will fit: Götz Muffin®, Corolle Cailin®, Zapf Creation®, Bitty Baby®, Bitty Twins®, Lee Middleton®, Götz Maxi-Muffin® and Adora Doll®.

Infinite Freedom and Sally Robertson are not associated with any of the above named dolls or companies in any way
