Reyna is not part of the Carpantina's Fantasy Adventure® collectible doll series. She is a special doll that Carpantina makes for Gali Girls Inc. as part of their Historical Jewish Gali Girls Collection. Reyna's character is twelve years old and lives in Old China's Jewish community of Kaifeng, in the year 1175. Her story is told in the book "Reyna and the Jade Star" which comes with the doll.

Slim-bodied and made of high-quality vinyl, Reyna stands 18" tall. Her dark brown hair is designed for easy care and restyling. She has open-close brown eyes.

Reyna can wear any of the Carpantina doll outfits, but the Ana Ming Chinese outfits fit right in with her historical character.

Carpatina Dolls can exchange clothing with the Magic Attic, Stardust Classics, Ann Estelle, Euro Girls and Just Pretend dolls.

The Susan Payne patterns are designed to fit a number of dolls including the Magic Attic Doll. Since Carpatina and Magic Attic are close enough in size to trade clothes, these patterns fit Carpatina very well. Here is a close-up of a dress I made for Ana Ming from a Susan Payne pattern and you can see how well it fits.

The Carpatina collectible dolls are not the same size as the American Girl and the clothing is not interchangeable. The vinyl Carpatina dolls have a slimmer vinyl body than the stuffed cloth body of the American Girls. While the height of the two dolls is practically the same, the shoulders of the Carpatina girls are higher than that of the American Girls. Also, the Carpatina heads are smaller than the American Girls. Their body size and shape is close to that of the popular Magic Attic and Just Pretend collectible dolls which are no being longer manufactured.

Carpatina Dolls can exchange clothing with the Magic Attic, Stardust Classics, Ann Estelle, Euro Girls and Just Pretend dolls.
