This French Princess dress with dancing slippers looks so complicated to make. Actually, it is very straightforward and most of the work is in the elaborate trim on the bodice insert, sleeves and front skirt panel. While the trim is elaborate, the sewing is actually easy! The model in the picture is wearing a dress made from silk dupioni and trimmed with various gold and cream trims. She has a composition body and porcelain head. The mold is "May," by Seeley. She just happens to be close to the regular 18 inch vinyl doll size even though she is not technically an 18 inch doll.
