The doll dress pattern for the Princess Aurora costume sparkles with golden light. It is made from sequined or embroidered satin with crinkled metallic silk for the skirt insert. The neck is beautifully trimmed in roses made from organza (full directions included) and gold trim. The puffed sleeves and overskirt are also trimmed with gold lace. The authors said that the sequined satin reminded them of the sunrise. What princess dress could be complete without dancing slippers to match the dress? The slippers for this dress are made from the sequined or embroidered satin, trimmed with gold lace and finished off with organza flowers. The authors felt felt moved to use "Georgia," a porcelain doll on a composition body as the model. The mold is by Jane Zidjunas for The Doll Carriage; interpreted by Doll Artist B. Joyce Wilcox.
