The Renaissance Princess sewing pattern for dolls features a dress with long sleeves and cone hat. The long sleeves are gathered at the top of the sleeve and in the middle and decorated with sequin trim. The sleeves have wide satin cuffs. The bodice is made from satin and the sequin trim is repeated at the line between the bodice and skirt. The chiffon overskirt is rounded at the center front. Joan Hinds and Jean Becker are two wacky ladies from Minnesota who have been designing clothes together for nine years. If you purchase the book you will see a picture of them dressed up as the Queens of Northern Minnesota in the back of the book. They think the governor might be a little upset to learn of this, but their children and husbands are already well aware they spend time in a dream world. Our model is an older doll from Götz Dolls® originally dressed as Sleeping Beauty.
