Carol's Embroidered Collar for Daisy Kingdom® Doll
Response to the Sewing Challenge

This dress comes from Carol Dale.

Carol made the pattern from a soft polyester washable material. She embroidered the collar and put snaps on the back for the closure. The model is a Daisy Kingdom® Doll owned by her daughter.

The Daisy Kingdom Doll® is thinner than the American Girl® Doll and most of the popular 18-inch dolls. This pattern is a little large for her. However, the book "Twelve Dancing Princesses: Sewing Regal Costumes for 18-inch Dolls" includes patterns for both the standard size 18-inch dolls and the thinner ones such as the Magic Attic Club®. I have not sewn these patterns for the Daisy Kingdom® Doll myself, but I think there is a good chance they would fit.
