Valorie's Star-Spangled Dress For Lauren
Response to the Sewing Challenge

Valorie Tresnor was so gracious to make this attractive dress for her neighbor's daughter from the free easy sewing pattern in the Sewing Challenge. Notice how the bias trim is cut so that the stars are spaced evenly going around the collar. Valorie writes:

Attached are two pictures of my little neighbor girl's American Doll. The dress I made for Lauren's Doll was from 100% cotton fabric. Lauren, her mother and I attended an Ice Cream Social sponsored by the local Junior League of Tacoma Wa and American Girl Company. Lauren dressed her doll in this dress for the occasion. I love the pattern.
