Response to the Sewing Challenge

Love to sew for kids? This dress was easy and the frog pattern in the dress has great appeal for kids.

The dress was made exactly like the original free pattern except the collar was omitted. The hair bow and panties are from patterns in the "Sew the Essential Wardrobe for 18-Inch Dolls" book (now out of print) and were made from the frog fabric. (Sorry we cannot put the pattern here as it is copyrighted by someone else). Also, 2 yard lengths of yellow ribbon and green ribbon were purchased and cut into 1 yard lengths. For variety, either the green ribbons or the yellow ribbons can be tied around the dropped waist of the dress and in the doll's hair.
