Response to the Sewing Challenge

Laura writes the following about her Easter Dress:

Thank you for the pattern. It has been so much fun! I had a drop waist dress for easter when I was a child. I loved it. My mother made it, and like all my easter dresses, it was pink! I used an easter mural print for the dress and solid pink with white bunnies for the collar and cuffs. The sleeves were shortened. Since I was using a quilt quarter for the dress fabric, I didn't have enough to make the bias trim for the collar... so I used the ever-over-used-and-out-dated Ric-Rac... but I liked it. A ribbon/bow was added at the bottom of the bodice and at the back of the neck. Two bunny buttons accent the closure area in the back. Her headpiece is florist stick covered with dress fabric and decorated with ribbon and flowers. She's ready for the EASTER PARADE!! Thanks again for the pattern... I am currently making a "sailor" version. I also enjoy your web page... you have a lovely family.

BTW: My great-great grandmothers name was Sally Robertson. My maiden name is Laura Robertson. Sally was Sarah "Sally" Privett. I also attached her picture.
