Middy Braid Version of the Free Pattern for 18" Doll Dress
Response to the Sewing Challenge

This dress was made exactly like the original pattern for the 18" doll dress except middy braid was used for the trim on the collar instead of the self-bias trim. If you want to try this variation of the free pattern, be sure to press, press and press with the iron to get the inside portion of the middy braid to lay flat after you have sewn the outside edge of the middy braid to the collar. It will lay flat, but it seems to work in slowly.
