Response to the Sewing Challenge

This is the second version of the online sewing pattern by Michele Hicks and her daughter Allison. Michele did the sewing and Allison did the designing. Michele wrote:

Dress 2 is our version of the American Girl, Samantha's holiday dress. We added white ribbon at the dropped waist, and lace around the collar and at the top of the sleeves (the close-up view shows this best). Allison picked out a fabric rose to decorate the collar. We added a stand-up collar in cranberry with a lace overlay to imitate Samantha's.
