Michele, Allison's Anne of Green Gables Dress

Thanks for the wonderful pattern. My daughter, Allison, played "fashion designer" and came up with these creations, which I sewed:

Dress 1 is our version of the dress Anne Shirley ("Anne of Green Gables") wears to the party with friend, Diana. We believe that Anne would agree it has "the puffiest" sleeves. We added 2" at the fold line for the sleeve (4" total per sleeve) and made the cuff twice as tall . Since Anne's dress was longer, we made the skirt 6" tall. We replaced the collar with lace and added a bows at the neck and at the dropped waist.
