A mug of hot cocoa and snuggling up in a big feather bed on a cold wintry night with a favorite doll and a good storybook was how Victorian children ended the day. A full-length flannel nightdress was worn in winter, replaced by a cotton version in summer.
The pattern includes directions to make the nightdress, mob cap and carpet slippers.
The Victorian nightdress is easily transformed into a party dress by making just a few changes.
This vintage doll clothes pattern is sized for a doll that is 17 inches tall. Directions are given to modify it for those that are from 14 to 25 inches tall.
