Baking cookies is easy in this cheery kitchen. The backdrop is a blue and white plaid fabric. The floor is a piece of butcher block-look Formica. A white painted floor cloth has blue stripes and yellow rickrack along the edges of the stripes. The table and chairs are painted blue and white, while the cupboard is painted yellow with white stripes. Fabric applique daisies are glued to the chairs and the cupboard. The window is made from a frame that is attached to the wall. It has a ruffled valance with a dowel that acts as a curtain rod inserted in the heading. A round daisy print tablecloth has a ruffle made with yellow and white striped fabric. The chair pads are made with the same print fabric and striped ruffle. The table has purchased cooking implements and cookies you can easily make with our directions. A bright pot of flowers sits on top of the cupboard. Our chef is wearing a simple outfit of pants and a turtleneck shirt. She has a matching apron, hat and oven mitts that were sewn from a red cooking print fabric. Her assistant wears a stylish peasant blouse and Capri pants. Her gingham apron resembles traditional aprons from past decades. The doll kitchen furniture and clothing patterns are designed to fit "vinyl" dolls (those with vinyl head, arms and legs and a cloth stuffed body) such as The American Girls Collection® by the Pleasant Company, Götz Dolls® (non-designer) and many others. The sewing patterns are actually designed to fit The American Girls Collection® and Götz Dolls® (non-designer) loosely to allow for individual differences in the stuffing of the dolls. They will also fit the following dolls: Dress Me Doll© by The Martha Pullen Company, Faithful Friends Collection®, Liberty Landing®, Girls on the Go®, Savannah of Storybook Heirlooms™, Laura Ashley®, Collector's Lane®, Creative Doll Company®, Springfield Collection®, Sophia's Heritage Collection®, Autumn Harvest™, Our Generation™, Tolly Girl® and miscellaneous composition and porcelain dolls. Since some dolls, such as Liberty Landing®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™, are a little thinner, you may want to check the size of your doll and adjust the clothing patterns slightly for a better fit.
