Your dolls can celebrate the holidays in style! The dining room vintage furniture that was used in the Tea Party scene is also used in this room. The backdrop has been changed to a Victorian Christmas print. The floor is made from green upholstery fabric that has the look of carpet. The chair pads have been exchanged for a more tailored look with piping at the edges. The holiday decorations include a Christmas tree decorated with purchased ornaments and wrapped packages. The tree skirt is pieced with velvet fabric and gold trim. A felt beaded stocking hangs off one of the chairs. The table is covered with a 20" white doily and a china tea set. The napkin rings are the same cardboard tubes used for the Tea Party, but they are covered with ribbon and a holly-shaped button. The doll is wearing a pretty panné velvet dress with a circle skirt. Please note that the bodice pattern pieces for this dress are designed for knit fabrics only. The doll vintage furniture and clothing patterns fit "vinyl" dolls (those with vinyl head, arms and legs and a cloth stuffed body) such as The American Girls Collection® by the Pleasant Company, Götz Dolls® (non-designer) and many others. The doll vintage furniture and patterns are actually designed to fit The American Girls Collection® and Götz Dolls® (non-designer) loosely to allow for individual differences in the stuffing of the dolls. They will also fit the following dolls: Dress Me Doll© by The Martha Pullen Company, Faithful Friends Collection®, Liberty Landing®, Girls on the Go®, Savannah of Storybook Heirlooms™, Laura Ashley®, Collector's Lane®, Creative Doll Company®, Springfield Collection®, Sophia's Heritage Collection®, Autumn Harvest™, Our Generation™, Tolly Girl® and miscellaneous composition and porcelain dolls. Since some dolls, such as Liberty Landing®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™, are a little thinner, you may want to check the size of your doll and adjust the clothing patterns slightly for a better fit.
