Swedish clothing for 18-inch dolls: Sweden has a variety of folk costumes, just as many other countries do. At the end of the 19th Century it was noted that some areas of Sweden did not have their own folk costume. In 1906 a special costume was designed so that no one would be without. This costume uses the blue and yellow colors in the Swedish flag. The skirt and bodice are royal blue with embroidered white daisies on the bodice. The apron also has a band of embroidered daisies along the hemline. It is all worn over a white blouse with a lace-trimmed peter pan color.
