Free Kaela Smocked Doll Dress Pattern:
This is a work in progress. More will be continuously added until it is finished.
My goal is to share with you some of the elements of designing smocked patterns that I have learned just by experimenting. I also will share the patterns so you can sew the dresses if you choose. Please note: Since I do all of my pleating with the use of a pleater, that is how I have written the patterns. You could easily pleat by hand using dots and then follow the same pattern.

| The first picture is a very traditional smocked dress made from white batiste with the smocking executed in a pastel color. This dress is always beautiful no matter which colors you choose. It is a very safe choice. Pattern for View 1:
