Belle Dress

The Belle Dress pattern has both a heirloom version and a smocked version, and includes a slip and panties that go beautifully with each version. Also, the slip can double as a sundress or pinafore. The smocked heirloom dress has lots of lace, a lace yoke, a lace-trimmed neckline, a lace-trimmed hem and smocked sleeves. (The slip forms the lower ruffle of this dress.) The smocked view is more tailored with a smocked yoke and designer sleeves. The sleeves of the two versions are interchangeable.

This smocked dress pattern is not beginners and, if you are an experienced seamstress, it offers you a chance to show some flair!

Fabrics required:

View A 3/4 yd. of 45" wide fabric.
View B 7/8 yd. of 45" wide fabric.
View C 1/2 yd. of 45" fabric.
Panties 1/3 yd. 45" fabric.
