Have you wanted to make doll dresses from the 1930's quilt fabric readily available in quilt stores but been unable to find a pattern that would be appropriate? If so, here is your chance to purchase a pattern that is perfect for the 1930's quilt fabric! The old-fashioned style of the dress looks like it came right from the 1930's. If you know someone who is old enough to have worn the 1930's quilt fabrics, what a wonderful gift a doll dressed in an outfit sewn from these fabrics would be! You have many options of dolls to buy, everything from an American Girl Collection® doll to the less expensive Laura Ashley® doll sold at Toys R Us to the even less expensive Springfield Collection® dolls sold through JoAnn's and Michael's. The model wearing the Mitzi Dress made up in 1930's quilt fabric is a Götz Doll®. The dress will fit 18" dolls (those with vinyl head, arms and legs and a cloth stuffed body) such as The American Girls Collection® by the Pleasant Company, Götz Dolls® (non-designer) and many others. The patterns by Sally Robertson are actually designed to fit The American Girls Collection®, Götz Dolls® (non-designer) and Dress Me Dolls© from The Martha Pullen Company (these dolls are the same size). The patterns will also fit the following dolls quite well: Faithful Friends Collection®, Liberty Landing®, Girls on the Go®, Savannah of Storybook Heirlooms™, Laura Ashley®, Collector's Lane®, Creative Doll Company®, Springfield Collection®, Sophia's Heritage Collection®, Autumn Harvest™, Our Generation™ and miscellaneous composition and porcelain dolls. Since some dolls, such as Liberty Landing®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™, are a little thinner, you may want to check the size of your doll and adjust the dress slightly for a better fit. Infinite Freedom and Sally Robertson are not associated with any of the above named dolls or companies in any way
