for 18-Inch Boy Doll

Every Princess needs to have a Prince and Joan Hinds and Jean Becker have done it! This easy to sew outfit even includes a helmet, wristlets and boots. The basic outfit is made from metallic knit fabric while the tunic, wristlets and boots are sewn of velveteen. One of the nicest things about the sewing patterns in this book is that they fit the dolls perfectly. Directions are given for 18-inch dolls such as the American Girl and Heidi Ott, regular size, and dolls that have a thinner figure, such as the Magic Attic Club dolls.

This pattern fits an 18-inch boy doll. This model prince in shining armor is "Ben," a Faithful Friends® doll by Heidi Ott, which used to be distributed exclusively by Target Stores.

This 18-inch boy doll pattern has directions for a slender and regular 18-inch doll. The slender size fits Magic Attic Club® dolls and miscellaneous composition and porcelain dolls..

The regular 18-inch boy doll size fits dolls with vinyl head, arms and legs and a cloth stuffed body such as The American Girls Collection® by the Pleasant Company, Götz Dolls® (non-designer) and many others. The doll pattern is actually designed to fit The American Girls Collection® and Götz Dolls® (non-designer) loosely to allow for individual differences in the stuffing of the dolls. It will also fit the following dolls: Dress Me Doll© from The Martha Pullen Company, Faithful Friends Collection®, Liberty Landing®, Girls on the Go®, Savannah of Storybook Heirlooms™, Laura Ashley®, Collector's Lane®, Creative Doll Company®, Springfield Collection®, Sophia's Heritage Collection®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™. Since some dolls, such as Liberty Landing®, Autumn Harvest™ and Our Generation™, are a little thinner, you may want to check the size of your 18-inch boy doll and adjust the pattern slightly for a better fit.
