The doll dress pattern for the Princess Aurora costume sparkles with golden light. It is made from sequined or embroidered satin with crinkled metallic silk for the skirt insert. The neck is beautifully trimmed in roses made from organza (full directions included) and gold trim. The puffed sleeves and overskirt are also trimmed with gold lace. The authors said that the sequined satin reminded them of the sunrise.

The authors felt felt moved to use "Georgia," a porcelain doll on a composition body as the model. The mold is by Jane Zidjunas for The Doll Carriage; interpreted by Doll Artist B. Joyce Wilcox.

The doll dress pattern is actually designed to fit The American Girls Collection® and Götz Dolls® (non-designer) loosely to allow for individual differences in the stuffing of the dolls.
