Free Smocked Doll Dress Patterns and New Sewing Challenge Started This is my gift to you starting Christmas of 2008. It is a work in progress so patterns will be added as I can. Through the series of Kaela Dress Pattern Variations I intend to illustrate many of the elements that need to be taken into consideration when sewing attractive smocked garments. Hopefully you will all add your ideas too. Click here for the free pattern and challenge invitation No point in being gloomy just because of the financial crisis when we can all sew for very little money!

Doll Clothing Sewing Challenge The website viewers and I (Sally) all worked together to create many versions of this free pattern. The variations made by each person are shown here along with the free pattern for you to print. Our viewers worked with toys and collectibles from different doll makers. Teach Your Child to Sew Teach your child to sew for the American Girl® doll with this free scrap doll quilt pattern. These instructions will give her lots of practice on sewing simple straight seams on the sewing machine. The pattern is also good practice for learning to sew baby quilt patterns and truly becoming a quilt maker.

| Articles For People Who Sell Their Crafts: 6 Secrets to Help Your Craft Business Survive the Economic Crisis 12 Free and Low Cost Ways to Market Your Craft Business How to Sell Crafts Online and Offline Selling Crafts Online: Introducing Etsy Copyright Issues: Normally pattern designers and doll makers are not willing to allow the people who purchase their patterns to make clothing from the designs and then sell the clothing. However, Joan Hinds, Jean Becker and I (Sally Robertson) give you full permission to make as many items from our patterns as you want and sell as many of them as you can. In fact, we hope for your great success in this venture! We both design American Girl clothing and know these clothes are very popular and sell well. I have no information about how the other designers, including those who design quilts for babies, feel about you selling clothing from their instructions. You would need to ask the designers and doll makers. |
Infinite Freedom
My
prayer is for a world so safe and abundant...
where all who love to sew are free to sew...
where all have the resources they need to sew...
and no strife or war can touch anyone who wants to sew.
