Christine, Emily's mother, wrote: "I wanted to share a few photos of my daughter Emily's first quilt made from this pattern."

"We had the best time making it together during all these snow days. My 7 year old did the majority of the sewing only with guidance. I cut 22 inch strips and used 9 on the quilt because she has a daybed where it would hang over. We used the other two strips to make pillows. The pattern was perfect for my little one. (Imagine my excitement as an avid quilter when my daughter wanted to make a her own quilt for her dolly!) We didn't experience any puckering, sewing straight went well, and sewing the stuffing in went smoothly."
