Doll Rapunzel Costume Pattern
Rapunzel gown
The Rapunzel costume includes instructions to make the gown, Juliet cap, slippers and petticoat.
The empire waist bodice of Rapunzel's gown is dotted with seed pearls and edged in lace. It is lined and fastens at the back with snap fasteners. The long sleeves puff at the top and taper to a point over the back of the doll's hand. The skirt has a slight train.
The pretty Juliet cap is made from material that matches the upper sleeves of Rapunzel's gown. It is fully lined in satin polyester and trimmed round the edge with decorative gold braid. The slippers are made from velveteen with tiny seed pearls stitched to the tops to match the bodice of her gown.
Rapunzel's petticoat
Rapunzel's costume includes a petticoat with a floating organza skirt stitched to an organza-covered bodice; this is such a dainty petticoat!
The Rapunzel costume is sized for a doll that is 20-22 inches tall. Directions are given to modify it for a doll that is from 14 to 25 inches tall.
