Baby Quilt Pattern Playmates uses fussy cuts on fabric

Theme or Conversation Prints are just that --- printed fabrics based on a theme or consisting of small images. Choose one fun fabric that you really want to work with. Then look at the colors in that fabric and pick a few of those for the rest of the quilt. Or, choose one color in the print and use several shades of that color. In Playmates there is a little girl in a pink dress on one fabric. Mary used that same pink plus a darker one and a lighter one. That created a lovely frame around the children and made a traditional-style quilt.
